Who We Are
FCTA is a group of horse enthusiasts that enjoy the disciplines of Eventing, Dressage and Jumping. We host several equestrian shows each year at Herron Park including “Mini-Events”; similar to the Event at Rebecca Farm, but on a smaller scale. It is low key and fun, even for beginners.
Since 1979, FCTA has been a leader in developing and supporting Herron Park by building the barns, cross-country and stadium jumps, and putting in the well.
Herron Park, located in Kalispell, Montana, provides a beautiful place for cross country skiers, dog walkers, mountain bikers, nature lovers and equestrians of every discipline. But keeping the park alive and functioning depends on all of us who care about its longevity.
Each year we provide the portable toilets for public use, help with weeding, clipping and gopher control and give a portion of the profits from events to the Park Department and to Foys to Blacktail Trails for Herron Park. We are glad these things benefit the public at large.
FCTA is always trying to raise the necessary dollars to keep the park maintained and in a safe operating condition for generations to come. As a volunteer organization, we rely on sponsorships, donations, memberships and volunteers.
